For the people who actually live on the street
A crosswalk, a bench, a tree, somewhere safe to cross on the way to school. Most people can picture exactly what they want and have no way to show it. These tiers exist so that stops being true.
Citizens
If your municipality subscribes, your account is free — unlimited plans anywhere inside your own city, at full export quality. Exports keep the StreetShape mark, which is how your city knows where the plan came from.
Students
Pro, free, for anyone enrolled anywhere — not just where the email ends in .edu. Apply with your academic address and we review it by hand, which is the only way this works outside the countries that have a reserved academic domain.
Municipalities
Let residents show you what they want instead of describing it. Priced on population and country, published openly, and waivable for small municipalities — from €750 a year.
Questions
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It has no end date and never will. Three plans, two square kilometres each, satellite imagery included, exports at 1920px with a StreetShape mark on them. If that is all you ever need, that is genuinely fine.
Why is there a monthly plan at all, if there is no AI in this?
Map imagery. Every plan you open pulls basemap tiles from a provider that bills us per map load, and satellite is the expensive one. That cost does not stop when a one-time payment clears, which is why the ongoing plan is a subscription and the lifetime is a limited launch offer rather than the permanent tier.
What happens to my plans if I stop paying?
You keep them. Everything you have made stays yours, stays visible and stays editable — you simply cannot create new ones past the free limit until you are back on a paid plan. Nothing is ever deleted because a card expired.
What does the founding lifetime actually include?
Hobby, permanently, for one payment. If Hobby gains features, you get them. It is capped at a hundred seats and will not come back once they are gone — that cap is what makes it possible to offer at all.
I am a citizen of a subscribing municipality. What is the catch?
Two things, and we would rather say them plainly than bury them. You can only design inside your own municipality, because your municipality is what is paying for the account. And your exports always carry the StreetShape mark — that one cannot be turned off at any price, because it is how a plan that reaches your council is recognisable as one.
My municipality is small and has no budget.
Ask for the fee to be waived. Under 25,000 residents, or anywhere in a low-income economy, and the answer is very likely yes — we would rather have you on the platform than have your money. It is a conversation, not a form rejection.
Can I change or cancel whenever I want?
Yes, from your account page, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for rather than immediately. You keep what you bought.
Who handles payment and tax?
Paddle, as merchant of record. They collect the money, handle VAT and sales tax wherever you are, and issue the receipt. We never see your card details.
